- Day 1: Fly to OregonWelcome to Portland, the vibrant heart of the Pacific Northwest! Upon arriving at the airport, we transfer to our hotel and get to know fellow travelers at a Welcome Reception with refreshing drinks.
- Day 2: Columbia River Gorge & PortlandOur adventure begins with a scenic journey through the awe-inspiring Columbia River Gorge, where towering cliffs and lush forests frame the winding river. Learn about the area’s history and take in panoramic views from Vista House at Crown Point, then marvel at the cascading beauty of Multnomah Falls. We continue our drive along the Historic Columbia River Highway with striking views of Latourell and Wahkeena Falls. Later, we return to Portland and unwind with a Happy Hour Sightseeing Cruise on the Willamette River, gliding past iconic bridges, floating homes, the grand estates of Dunthorpe, and more. The evening is yours to discover the city’s culinary scene, from eclectic food carts to award-winning restaurants.

- Day 3: Mount Hood & The DallesThis morning, we travel into Mount Hood National Forest, home to the Cascade Range and Oregon’s highest peak. Enjoy incredible alpine vistas from Timberline Lodge, a National Historic Landmark famous for its hand-carved details and role in The Shining. After admiring its rustic architecture, we feel the pioneer spirit during a delicious lunch at the Cascade Dining Room. Next, we have a chance to watch fish migrate up the ladders at Bonneville Dam before visiting the nearby fish hatchery to see leaping salmon and learn about their contribution to the region’s ecosystem. Later, we settle into our accommodations and gather for dinner in The Dalles, once a major Native American trading center.

- Day 4: Maryhill Art & WineryToday’s destination is Washington’s remote town of Maryhill, founded by visionary entrepreneur Samuel Hill. We stop at a scenic bluff overlooking the eastern Columbia River Gorge to visit the Maryhill Museum of Art, which was originally intended as a grand mansion and now houses an extraordinary collection of works by Rodin, artifacts from Indigenous Peoples of North America, and exhibits on Hill’s ambitious projects. Next, we pay respects at Stonehenge Memorial, one of the nation's first WWI memorials and a fascinating replica of the original in England. Our lunch is at the Maryhill Winery Goldendale Tasting Room, complete with sweeping vineyard and river views. We then travel into the picturesque Palouse region, known as a photographer’s paradise for its stunning landscapes, and explore the REACH Museum to learn about the Manhattan Project, Cold War history, and more. Tonight’s hotel is in the Tri-Cities area of Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland, where an included dinner awaits.

- Day 5: Oregon Trail & Walla WallaOur day begins at Whitman Mission National Historic Site, where we explore the story of Marcus and Narcissa Whitman and learn about early missionary life in the Pacific Northwest, as well as the site’s lasting significance in regional and Indigenous history. We then journey to Walla Walla, a gorgeous region celebrated for its fertile farmlands and exquisite wines. Enjoy lunch at leisure before a guided tour of its charming Historic District, where we see beautifully preserved 19th-century brick buildings, quaint neighborhoods, and Main Street lined with inviting shops. Our next stop is a local winery to indulge in the incredible local flavors while hearing more about their famous vinos. Tonight, we check in to our nearby hotel and gather for a delicious dinner.

- Day 6: Living HistoryThis morning, we explore Fort Walla Walla Museum, strolling through its 17-building pioneer settlement where historic structures, artifacts, and landscaped grounds bring frontier and military history to life. After lunch at leisure, we travel east through rolling farmland and along the Snake River corridor, enjoying an ever-changing landscape as we cross into Idaho. By afternoon, we arrive in Lewiston, set at the confluence of the Snake and Clearwater Rivers, for a two-night stay.

- Day 7: Hells Canyon AdventureToday, we discover the untamed beauty of Hells Canyon, carved over millennia by the force of the Snake River to form North America’s deepest river gorge. A thrilling jet boat tour carries us into unspoiled wilderness with sheer basalt cliffs towering above rushing rapids. Along the way, listen to stories of the Nez Perce people who have called this land home for thousands of years, and learn how early settlers braved its unforgiving terrain. We may even catch a glimpse of bighorn sheep, elk, or golden eagles soaring overhead! Our lunch is served picnic style below the fruit orchards of Cache Creek Ranch. This afternoon, our exploration continues at the Lewis and Clark Discovery Center in Hells Gate State Park. Follow their journey through immersive exhibits before returning to the hotel for a leisurely evening to relax or see more of Lewiston on your own.

- Day 8: Spokane City Tour & Leisure TimeOur morning starts with a drive to Spokane, Washington, a city shaped by its rich railroad history and stunning natural surroundings. After lunch at leisure, a local guide joins us for a narrated tour to share fascinating insight, including how the city has transformed since the International Exposition on the Environment in 1974. We also take in views of Riverfront Park, the Great Northern Clocktower, the Romanesque-style courthouse, and the grand Davenport Hotel that once hosted royalty and presidents. The rest of the day is yours to explore more iconic attractions! Walk through Riverfront Park’s 100-acre urban oasis, marvel at the massive Spokane Falls, or channel your adventurous side with the Numerica SkyRide for breathtaking views. Tonight, we gather for a celebratory Farewell Dinner.
